Being an intuitive painter I never know what will turn up when I step up to the easel. Recently mountains have been coming through. To me the inspiration is coming from the mountains of Berchtesgarten in Germany. My dad grew up there having been a refugee during the second world war. I never visited there until after he died. But I was so struck by the mountains. They felt like a great big hug surrounding me.

Hence my Mountain Collection of paintings was born. Each painting holds a special place in my heart. Invoking memories of joy, freedom, hope, love all tinged with a little sadness.

My hope is that this painting brings a spark of emotion into your life every time you look at it.
